WCB Designs is a home based sole proprietorship in Pensacola, Florida, established in 2000. 

I have a degree in construction and have been drafting since high school.  I started hand drafting in high school  and transitioned to computer drafting in college.   I graduated college, with a degree in construction.  The same year Hurricane Ivan hit the Gulf Coast.  Due to the chaos and influx of contractors to the area, it was not the time to start a contracting business.  I continued working at Architectural firms until the opportunity came along to work independently as a designer.  I have been designing and providing drafting services since 2000.  With an art background, my years of experience working with Architectural / Engineering firms, multiple CAD and graphic programs and production equipment, I am also able to provide modeling, graphic and prototyping services. 

Baskervill-Donovan Engineering and Architecture

• Computer drafting for Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural and Civil Departments.
• Coordinate final plan production.
• Visit project locations for field verifications and inspections.

Beach Colony Resorts

• On-site production of construction documents for a 20 story condominium.
• Construction inspections.
• Coordination with sub-contractors.
• Design plans and renderings for new high-rise condominium projects.

Brad Patterson, Architect

• Design and Drafting of high-end residential and commercial projects.
• Coordination with owners and developers for project designs.
• Coordination with contractors during construction.
• Inspections of projects during construction.

STOA Carlos & Law, Architects

• Design and Drafting for Department of Defense and commercial projects.
• Worked directly with Architects to produce construction documents.
• Managed other drafting team members in the production of plans.
• Evaluated new design software for the possibility of company use.
• Coordinated with engineering firms.
• Inspected county buildings for damage from hurricane Ivan and provided repair recommendations.

Spencer Maxwell Bullock, Architects

• Design and Drafting for high-end residential commercial projects.
• Worked directly with Architects to produce construction documents.

Brett Duch, Architect

• Contract work to produce design documents for Assisted Living Facilities and Commercial projects.

It was during my time at Spencer Maxwell Bullock that I was able to start working independently as a designer and contract drafter.
